In Costa Rica there is a sanctuary for sloths by a woman who was given one that was injured. Later villagers seem to just bring sick, injured or abandoned babies to them and it keep getting bigger.

two toed sloths have different face. And out of the 4 species of Three toed this one looks like the only one in Peru.
