Winberry bush

Lots of them in this area... I would imagine it's very difficult not to come across these when going on a walk in this part of Wales. I hope to pick some of these and try to make some winberry gin.

Notes:

An inch of white sugar in the bottom of an empty 1 litre gin bottle, add about 75cl of the gin. prick a load of winberries with a knife and fill the bottle to the brim with these wnberries. Leave for 3 months in a cool, dark cupboard. Strain the mixture through some muslin or cloth or something and there's your winberry gin
