This loon was swimming along in a small sheltered cove, if you look closely you can see its baby resting on its back(I have placed an arrow to help spot the baby in the second picture). The pair of loons that live in this lake actually have 2 babys you can only see one in this picture, the other was probobly being carried by the mate elsewhere.
Sorry about the fuzzyness.
