Description:

Photo take at my backyard this is common to see this time of the year about 8 cm wingspan black wings whit red patches and white . on the abdomen has some red points as well. Forewing black with pink-red band; hindwing black with yellow stripe.

Habitat:

Tropical and subtropical forests and edges. Range: Brazil north through Central America to Mexico; a rare stray to South Texas.
