Description:

Small damselfly in The Bluet group. Like the Orange Bluet, the Vesper is largely other colors with the exception of the lower abdomen segments S9 all blue. I think this is a teneral female.

Habitat:

Pond and Lake Margins

Notes:

Observed perched in vegetation on the S shore of Corning Lake, The Holden Arboretum, Lake County, Kirtland, OH
