Description:

Brilliant green coloration with six distinctive white spots.

Habitat:

Spotted on a gravel bike path intersecting a wooded area. Six-spotted Tiger Beetles live in woody places, and they like shady openings such as dirt paths and fallen logs.

Awesome photos. Those beetles are hard to get close to. I have a mission for beetles that covers the NW half of the state of Missouri. I would be thrilled if you would add this and any other beetles you've spotted to the mission.
