Nandina domestica
This is one interesting plant. It grows berries that look a lot like holly berries except not on leaves but these grown on little stems that shoot out. The holly plant blooms in the spring. These fruit in the winter and are in fact a sort of evergreen plant.
I have these in my side of the border to my backyard and they are very hardy plants in the Zone 7 range.
