Hi everyone, I recently came across a spotting identical with this one but with a different ID suggested by Dilan Chathuranga. You can find it here: http://www.natureloveyou.sg/Minibeast-Ho...
I really hope someone can ID this awesome looking thing! A froghopper or leafhopper of some sort is my guess, but I don't know any more than that. I love how it looks like he's wearing a jester's hat! Great pics, Jolly!

Great photos and series Jolly!
Thanks Smith'sZoo
Great series!
Excellent job! Looks really very similar. I think you can go with your genus.
I found an ID for this spotting. I hope its correct.
Thanks bayucca. It seems I cannot help myself ID a lot of my spottings. I still have an unidentified shield bug & more!
It seems that everybody (including me) love to take photos of membracids, but there are very few resources on-line for an ID of most of them...
Horned Treehopper, Membracidae. I have seen tons of them, but unfortunately none with an ID!
Thanks LauraMaria
