Tortoise leaf beetle

Paropsisterna decolorata (?)

Description:

An undetermined tortoise leaf beetle is probably P. decolorata but possibly in the variicollis complex. This one was particularly pretty.

Habitat:

On eucalyptus leaf.

Notes:

There were several typical variicollis beetles and eggs, larvae present. The location is the same as this (possible Paropsisterna decolorata) sighting by Nick http://lifeunseen.com/index2_item_6873.p...
