Lerema accius
Adults have dark brown wings. Underside of hindwing has variegated patches and violet-blue sheen. Males: upper side of forewing with black stigma. Female: forewing with transparent white spots. The wingspan is 32–45 mm. Adults are on wing year round in Florida and southern Texas.
Near forest edges, also in clearings near swamps and rivers. The larvae feed on various grasses including St. Augustine Grass or Buffalo Grass. Adults feed on the nectar of various pink, purple, or white flowers, including shepherd's needle, selfheal, vervain, buttonbush, and lantana.
Found this butterfly on my Lantana and Salvia. It didn't stick around long.

Thank you bayucca. I'll do what I can too.
Hesperiidae, Skipper butterfly. If they do not have clear spots or other markings than it is not easy to get down to species. This one have some spots but unfortunately many others have also spots at the same places, so then the size and distance to each other are important. I will try once to get closer...
