Confused Haploa

Haploa confusa

Description:

The Confused Haploa, Haploa confusa, is very different than its close relative, Haploa clymene (The Clymene Moth) in many ways. The forewings are brown, splotched with white, and the hindwings are completely white (see photo 3), contrasting to that of the orange-hindwinged H. clymene.
