Verbascum pulverulentum

Description:

Up to 2 m in height. Large leaves, tightly arranged at the baseline, up to 10 cm long by 15 wide. Hermaphrodite flowers, yellow, 2 to 2.5 cm in diameter, arranged in small groups, irregularly spaced on the lateral branches. A feature of these flowers is that open like a wheel and detach easily when touched.

Habitat:

On vacant land, dry meadows, slopes, stony soils, roadsides and waste dumps.
