Spotting

Description:

A great number of insect eggs or cocoons linked by a silk line. They are about 3mm long. My guess is that the line was used for attaching them to a branch but, for some reason, it got loose. Some eggs/cocoons already hatched ( the cap like cover of one of them can be seen in photos #1 and #3, hanging from the empty one.

Very interesting find Sergio. Maybe we are finding similar spottings because of the similar latitud. Mine Lat: 22.11, Long: -101.01

Autnance, they may very well be cocoons. I checked several times after these photo was taken, but I never saw either a hatchling or an adult insect. Actually, I didn't imagine that larvae could pup together (yes, I am naive sometimes...), so eggs were the first thing that came to my mind.
