Yay I figured it was a Cattle Egret until it looked closer and thought it must be a bit bigger. Nice to know I was right :)
Liam, Taking a second look at the spottings, I am rather confident your correct, and I was once again wrong.
The bill is too short for Great Egret and the neck too short; body and neck too long for Cattle Egret. This is an Intermediate Egret.
I believe rather strongly that your spotting is that of an Eastern Great Egret
