Mycteroperca tigris
Usually seen swimming lazily about the reef, or resting on the bottom, in basket sponges, and amongst gorgonians waiting for prey, primarily in depths shallower than 60 feet. Frequently observed at cleaning stations. Range includes Bermuda, southern Florida, the Bahamas, the Antilles, the Caribbean coasts as far as Suriname, and the western Gulf of Mexico. Also off southern Brazil.
Spotted 2 at the Devil's Grotto Dive site. Pictures not the best but like the mouth on the last one.
