Streaked Tussock Moth

Dasychira obliquata

Description:

A beautiful (and hairy!) tussock moth, Dasychira obliquata, the Streaked Tussock Moth, appears to blend in well with a lichen covered tree. In the first photo, it seems as if it is making its best billy goat impression!
