Auricularia auricula-judae

Description:

Flat ear shaped gelatinous discs with short stalks. The upper surface seemed darker and slightly pubescent. The lower fertile surface smooth.

Habitat:

Spotted growing amidst moss on the trunk of a large eucalyptus tree - damp eucalyptus forest

Notes:

Used to be called Judas Ear
