Lingzhi Mushroom

Ganoderma lucidum

Description:

These are two mushrooms that were found in the SAS secondary tropical forest. They were approximately 5 inches, and were a brownish, teal color. The second one, which was a little bigger, had a small white circular print on its lower print.

Habitat:

It was found at the Singapore American School secondary tropical rainforest. It was also found on a Nurse long about 2 metres long.

Notes:

The Nurse log was rotting a bit on its sides. This is also known as a Reishi Mushroom.
