Longbodied Cellar Spider

Description:

Common spider, gray with mottled abdomen and very long legs. The underside of the long abdomen is very light colored.

Habitat:

Backyard porch wall at night.

Notes:

Although another common name is Daddy Longlegs, this is not a Harvestmen. "Phalangium, the genus of harvestmen/daddy-longlegs + -oides (οιδης)- "like, resembling" (only seen as an ending)." - BugGuide
