Spotted at Puerto Egas in the Galapagos.Galapagos hawks live for about 25 years. Young hawks are lighter coloured than the adults with mottled brown-and-cream-colored breast feathers.
They are a bird of prey feeding on endemic rice rats, young marine iguanas, lava lizards, doves and other animals.
