Yes. Got to be the same species. Simply amazing (Read Proverbs 6:6).
It was only several paces away from the first heavily guarded trail and the second of the three ant trails that ran across the path early that cold morning. The third trail was very scanty and unguarded. Didn't bother to cover it.

So amazing. Is this the same species as your other spotting (i.e.. same area)? I can't believe the effort they put into protecting their trails. The Army Ants of the Americas don't do this.
