Large, gray bodied duck with a black neck and head. The eye is yellow, and the bill blue. Very similar to the lesser scaup, but differ in size, shape of head, and head sheen color. Greater scaup have green head shine and lessers have purple. This is only the second time I've seen this species, and my first one was the female. This guy was very pretty!
