FUN FACT: Nautiluses have compartments in their shells, it lives in the largest of these which opens up to the ocean. The rest of the compartments are filled with gases which the nautilus can adjust to decide how high or low he wants to float
@Marta, this was on 'arranged' dives. The local fisherman knows the area where they see the Chambered Nautilus on a regular basis when they are out fishing during the night. Our dive Operator then approached them to 'purchase' those caught by them for release. We then brought it during our dives to take pictures of them, staying up to around 30 meters and then released them.
