Large, plump brown & bronze game bird with striking blue & red bare head. 36-48"
These birds where seen in a friend's backyard in a development abutting a wild area.
Nearly became our national bird but lost by 1 point to the Bald Eagle. Populations are now stable. Can fly up to 60MPH!
