Polioptila caerulea
Tiny blue gray bird has a white eye ring and belly. It flicks its long white-edged tail side to side to scare up insects. This small bird is hanging upside down in the Willow tree along the shore line. It is hunting for the many bugs in this tree.
A riparian wildlife area along the edge of Lake Lewisville. This was spotted on a day hike along the edge of the lake traveling south and west.
More that 270 bird species can be found throughout the year.
