Description:

About 12mm long. All black with simple wing venation, distinctive spiny and hooked tarsi.. thick femurs.. propped up at front when at rest.. very pointy abdomen.. 3 or 4 antennal segments.. ocelli !

Habitat:

Exploring herb garden in suburban back yard.

Notes:
