Hi Steve, thanks for your comment and suggestion. There are several of these in that area, all similar looking but varying greatly in size. One fairly large one is here: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/132... , perhaps you could check it out for me and add your comments please, and any other of my spiders which are not as yet identified.

NOT the true Daddy-Long-Legs or Crane Fly such as Tipula paludosa or the Harvestman such as Leiobunum rotundum.

I have lots of these spiders in my lock-up garage in the Thames Valley of England and AFAIK they are harmless.
