Description:

tiny, 1- 2mm, surface beginning smooth and turning rough, maybe a type of slime mold?

Habitat:

temperate forest, dead log

Notes:

I spotted this in Algonquin provincial park. Not a huge landmark, but this is my 1400th spotting.
