Description:

Very like the house sparrow (Passer domesticus), the tree sparrow (Passer montanus) was not recognized as a separate species until 1713. The two species are very alike... only it has a beauty spot on its cheek.

Habitat:

Namchi Temple Complex. It was raining and these birds had found shelter and had lined up on a ledge. The area is hilly.
