Bighorn Sheep

Ovis canadensis

Description:

Light brown sheep with large, curved horns on the males. Females also have horns, but they are much shorter. This was a group of about a dozen males and they were play fighting right next to the road. Were a lifer for me!

Habitat:

On the side of the road in a small town in the mountains.
