An unidentified green spider with bright red/orange markings. The spider extends its first two pairs of legs forward and the last pair rearwards in a prone position. Photograph of the same species from other areas of Papua can be seen here http://www.flickr.com/photos/gbohne/5404... and here http://travel.mongabay.com/indonesia/ima... Unfortunately the species is not identified in either photograph.
Spotted on vegetation along a survey transect in secondary coastal lowland mixed freshwater swamp forest/sago swamp forest.

I'm saying the pose looks differently than Oxytate as regards the very long rear legs :-)
It's pose may look like an Oxytate crab spider but something isn't right.
Those leg hairs are unusual for a crab spider.
Thank Atul. The thing that makes me unsure of Oxytate is the length and positioning of the rear legs in my spotting, as contrasted here http://www.flickr.com/photos/47555607@N0... here http://www.biodiversityexplorer.org/arac... and here http://www.flickr.com/photos/29480496@N0...
