Description:

It is an annual plant of the Asteraceae, up to 80 cm high, with resin-dotted leaves and spine-tipped phyllaries. Yellow flowers. It blooms from march to the middle of the summer. This plant is endemic of the Iberian peninsula.

Habitat:

Mediterranean forest with Holm oak trees and pine trees
