Agrilus rubrovittatus?

Description:

Small Buprestid about 8mm long. Very slender with short antennae. Head and protonum are shiny bronze; elytra are purple with a green stripe down the middle.

Habitat:

Found in 'El Cimatario', a national park in semi-arid area just outside the city. The rainy season is now in full swing and many animals are venturing out.

Notes:

The genus Agrilus holds the record for the most species at about 3000!
