Laverne Nursery Guava Plant

Psidium guajava

Description:

It looks like the fruit-- presumably guava-- was cut off from this plant, seeing as there is a cut-off stump near the leaves. I photographed them because the striking red color intrigued me. Roughly 3 inches long and 1 inch wide.

Habitat:

Secondary rainforest in Singapore
