Cotton Hopper

Flatidae Nymph

Description:

This cotton hopper was very small, about the size of the tip of my thumb. It had many long, white tendrils coming from it's body. It has short, thin, furry legs.

Habitat:

I found this cotton hopper in the Singapore American School secondary rainforest. It was walking around on the branch of a cocoa tree.

Notes:

This was a young cotton hopper, but I found full grown cotton hoppers all over the tree.
