A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Hesperiinae sp.
A few of these guys ca n be found in the grassy-meadow area of our suburban backyard where the odd garden flower grows along with 3ft grass. These are generally seen in the sunniest portion of the backyard. While the coloring is the same, the markings on theses grass skippers differ from the ones seen in the shady portion of the yard which mimics the edge of a woodland more(http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/13536047).
I could only really identify these guys as the subfamily Hesperiinae.
