Xerula seems to be a fit, but the species? The cap is about the same size and shape of as a typical sand dollar. Very tall mushroom!
Mostly deciduous woods.
Thanks lightworkerpeace, I agree, I think it's a Xerula. Now, how to narrow down to the species?
