Found this one just on the surf line on a mixed/ sandy/rocky beach in Northern Pahang, Malaysia. Presuming its a Murex of some species but any help identifying it would be gratefully received.

Thank you WMengVang. Initially I thought Carbonnier's but they occur more in the Red Sea and West of India. Have they ever been documented on the East side of the Malay Peninsular? Would be interested if anyone has any information on this. Thank you.
