Junonia atlites
The Gray Pansy or Grey Pansy (Junonia atlites) is a species of nymphalid butterfly found in South Asia.
This series of photos was taken on my second visit to the Butterfly Pavilion in Denver, Colorado. Couldn't resist going again!
thanks bayucca, Hmm, a Grey Pansy! I have spotted many of the other Junonia species in India, but so far, never this one...
