Asian common toad

Duttaphrynus melanostictus

Description:

A toad with warty projections which oozes poisonous secretions if handled. Very few natural predators because of this. The Tadpoles are also poisonous to many fishes and other animals. They are preyed on by Checkered keelback snakes which are immune to this toad's venom.

Habitat:

Found near an abandoned building close to water.
