Eastern Kingbird

Tyrannus tyrannus

Description:

Fearlessly defend their territory, even against much larger birds.

Habitat:

meadow, north america, migrate to south america for winter

Notes:

I spotted this bird in the meadow behind screaming tunnels. It had a nest about 3m (10') off the ground in a tree beside a fence along the trail. I didn't notice the nest at first, just this bird always flying around when we passed by.
