Not one of the true emeralds (which are in the Genus Nemoria), Synchlora aerata is a beautiful late summer moth.

This is not a White-fringed... The antenna is not right, and White-fringed is a summer moth. Look at Wavy-lined Emerald - Synchlora aerata:
