A large, day flying moth. Wingspan 100mm, unfortunately this moths wings were deteriorated, it may nearly be expired.
Mackay Botanic Gardens. Caterpillars feed on Omphalea celata, makes me wonder if I'm nursing a chrysalis for this species! I pinched one from this tree some weeks ago & have bought it home & nursed it since. These moths were hanging there.
