Little Corella

Cacatua sanguinea

Description:

The Little Corella is a white cockatoo with very small crest. Has pink throat feathers. It is smaller than the Sulphur-crested Cockatoo.

Habitat:

Open countryside near water (creeks, dams).

Notes:

Other Names Short-billed Cockatoo Size 35 - 40cm (about same size as Galah) Food fruit, seeds, nuts, berries, plant shoots and roots, grubs.

Thanks Maria and Shanna.. It is a shame that we need barbed wire to protect things. I have cut barbed wire fences to free Bats, Eagles and Frogmouths..
