The different species are separated by characteristics of branching pattern and leaf length. Nice find :)

This is almost certainly one of the Sisyrinchium sp., or blue-eyed grasses. I can't narrow it down to the species for you though; there are lots of different species. One of my favorite flowers. Despite its name it is not a grass, but a forb. See http://plants.usda.gov/core/profile?symb... for more information. Nice photo!
