We stopped by the Illumination Lawn at Lincoln Center (http://gothamist.com/2010/05/21/lincoln_...), which is really cool. Surprised to see a dragonfly there.

I believe it is a male Blue Dasher (part of the Skimmer family), based on the brief search I conducted on Wikipedia.
