American Robin

Turdus migratorius

Description:

Contrary to popular opinion and the rough translation of its specific epithet (migratorius~migrator), many robins in Northeastern North America brave it through the Winter!

Habitat:

This was a tricky one to find—it eventually settled in a Catalpa Tree (Catalpa speciosa) for a few seconds.
