Verreaux's (Black) Eagle

Description:

An adult and an immature flying together.

Habitat:

While on a huge rock plateau at the highest point, we flushed these two from the nest that was below us. They just flew around us until we left. High elevation grassland (above 8000ft). We later saw the nest from below while driving, and it was giant.
