Argiope trifasciata and Arilus cristatus
SPIDER is orb weaving spider family Araneidae. Abdomen size: 2.6 cm(1 inch) not including legs. Yellow/white/black bands on top of abdomen. Underside. Black and yellow "mask" with red rose-like structure. Black and tan stripe legs. WHEEL BUG is Family: Reduviidae, Subfamily: Harpactorinae. (Arilus cristatus) One of the largest terrestrial bugs in North America. Structure: Wheel/cog on abdomen. Head has long injector. Length: 3.2 cm (1.25 inches)
Meadow with abundant flowers and weeds. Range: Found throughout much of the USA including Hawaii and Southern Canada

You would think the wheel bug would win that contest. But those spiders are very very fast as captured on video
