Little Wattlebird

Anthochaera chrysoptera

Notes:

This very noisy honeyeater comes to feed on the grevillea in our backyard several times a day. However, he is quite camera shy - I was lucky to get these shots! Like the Little Corella, the Little Wattlebird is not a 'little' bird - it's a medium to large member of the honeyeater family.

Nice spotting. They are very shy. They live in the back of our block and I often hear them, but rarely see them.
